Luxury Monochromatic Elopement

Calgary, AB Private Hangar Elopement Inspiration
This editorial elopement inspiration came from any classic James Bond movie - classy, sexy, with private planes & sports cars galore! But even more so - with the shift away from the many boho palettes we’ve seen over the last two years, we wanted to create a monochromatic palette with trending elements like baby’s breath, modern dresses, & neon signs. Putting together these two inspirations (007 & monochromatic) created a styled shoot that had everything 2022 & 2023 designs are heading for!
The vendors came together to bring the best out of the design board & elevate it! Little Daisy Florals created amazing baby’s breath filled installations & centrepieces - I’m loving the elevated moment baby’s breath is having again! The creativity of this once rustic flower is endless!
The bride’s Ceriti dress from Blush & Raven & the groom’s 3 piece suit from The Place for Men dressed up the models in the perfect Bond-like attire! So classy, so sexy - just look at that slit on the dress & the front cut out! Simple does not mean boring!
Of course, no Bond inspired monochromatic shoot would be complete without a martini! The Wildflower Wandering Bar was the perfect addition to this shoot - a modern white trailer with built in taps for all your drinking needs! And the acrylic signage from Prairie Furnishing & Decor put the finishing touches on not just the bar, & ceremony, but also the place settings! Shaken, no stirred darling.
Lastly, Meg Seitz Photography captured every element of the shoot with the perfect “airiness” to pull out all the best from this monochromatic palette. From the ceremony backdrop & neon sign from Stef Forward Events to the velvet linens on the tablescape, she photographed everything to perfection.
This shoot was a dream to create, design, & style & we got to work with the best vendor team. Here’s to more modern, monochromatic palettes in the future weddings to come!
